The staff and volunteers of United Caring Shelters, Inc. accept God’s invitation to respond to the needs of the homeless and near homeless population in our community with gracious hospitality, respect, patience, and support.

We encourage our guests to a life of greater dignity, self-respect and independence.

We provide three hot meals a day, laundry facilities, shower facilities and clothing for any person who is in need.

We provide overnight shelter and security for 62 men each evening.

We provide a 2 year Transitional Housing Program of instruction and support for 21 men and fathers who are ready to resume life as a self-sustaining, contributing member of our community.

We provide the opportunity for you to get involved in this endeavor.

You can volunteer to listen to the stories of our guests, to help prepare and serve meals, to sort clothing and other goods that are donated.

You can volunteer your particular skills and abilities in numerous creative ways to provide encouragement and support for our guests, and our facilities.

You can support our mission through financial gifts to help meet the tremendous overhead expenses we incur through our day to day operations.

We are here to serve those members of our community who find themselves in need of life’s basic necessities. We are able to do so only with the continuing support of our community as a whole.
